Textiles Ministry has approved setting up of 13 textile parks entailing minimum investment of 100 crore rupees each. Addressing a function in New Delhi on Thursday, Textile Minister Santosh Gangwar said the step will help to generate thousands of jobs.He also said that he has called a meeting of the state Textile ministers on 24th of this month to seek their inputs on the new Textile policy and other related matters. Mr Gangwar said, the key objectives of the new National Textiles Policy include developing a vision statement of the textile sector for the next decade.
