Texas church shooting: Authorities identify Devin Kelley as gunman

The gunman who opened fire on a Texas church yesterday morning, killing 26, has been identified as 26-year-old Devin Kelly. Quoting a US law enforcement official, the Associated Press (AP) confirmed the identity of the shooter and said Kelly lived in the suburb of San Antonio and had no connection to organized terrorist groups. ?Air Force spokeswoman Ann Stefanek also told Voice of America that records show Devin P. Kelley previously served in the United States Airforce(USAF). He said records checks confirm that Devin P. Kelley was previously a USAF member, who served in Logistics Readiness at Holloman AFB, NM, from 2010 until his discharge in 2014. Stefnaek said Kelley was court martialed in 2012 for assault on his spouse and assault on their child. Kelley also received a Bad Conduct Discharge, confinement for twelve months and a reduction to the grade,said the spokeswomen.<br/><br/>
