The maiden flight test of Agni-II plus missile which was to be conducted from Wheeler Island of Dhamra in Odisha Coast today has been posponed due to adverse weather condition. It may be test-fired on the next Sunday. The new series Agni-II plus, a surface-to-surface missile, is capable of carrying nuclear warheads and can strike targets within a range of 2,500 to 3,000 km. The new missile is said to be an intermediary between Agni-II and Agni-III.
