Three Jammu and Kashmir police personnel were among seven people injured when terrorists attacked Sopore police station with grenades today.
Official sources said the ultras hurled a hand grenade towards Sopore police station in north Kashmir district of Baramulla.
The grenade exploded near the police station causing splinter injuries to three police personnel and four civilians.
The injured were rushed to hospital. Some firing shots were also heard in the area, sources said and added that the area has been sealed.
A massive hunt has been launched to nab the terrorists responsible for the attack.
Meanwhile, the Army today busted a terrorist hideout and recovered arms and ammunition in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A senior army official said, acting on a tip-off, a joint team of 23 Rashtriya Rifles and 159 Territorial Army busted the natural cave hideout in Kurzi-Buzla area. He said, five rifles and a huge cache of ammunition were recovered from the hideout.
