In Jammu & Kashmir, one terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Sopore township of north Kashmir's Baramulla district today. <br/><br/>The slain militant has been identified as local Hizbul Mujahideen commander Shahid Sheikh of kachloo Qazi Abad Handwara in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. <br/><br/>The gunfight which started at around 3 am in the village, has ended. Reports said the residential house in which the militant was trapped was damaged during the gunfight.
