Terrorism must not be referred to any particular religion: Dalai Lama

Spiritual Leader The Dalai Lama has said that terrorism must not be referred to any particular religion, and where there is terrorism there is no religion. He was delivering inaugural lecture in TISS in Mumbai while launching the course titled "Secular Ethics".<br/><br/>He said that religion is an individual affair and terrorism is terrorism. He underlined the need of taking care of moral education, as it was done by religious education in the days prior to industrialization. He also pitched for gender equality and said that women should take more active role in academics. The spiritual leader said that dowry and other traditions like caste system should be addressed in India.
