Terrorism has no religion and no religion in world supports terrorism: Venkaiah Naidu

Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu today said that terrorism has no religion and no religion in the world supports terrorism. He said, despite that, neighbouring country of India has made terrorism a state policy. <br/><br/><br/>Attending the Achiever Awards program organized by Pratidin Time news channel in Guwahati today, the Vice-President urged the media to bridge the gap between the urban and rural areas. He said that media should praise and highlight the good works of the government and criticise the negative works if any. He said that ideal newspapers should reflect the problems facing the society. <br/><br/>Mr. Naidu said that primary education should be taught in mother tongue. He said, there was no problem in acquiring English and other languages but people of India should not forget the rich heritage and culture of the country. <br/><br/>Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal also attended the program. Several persons and organizations of North East region were felicitated by the media house for their distinguished works. <br/>
