Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai has reiterated that terrorism cannot be defeated without rooting out its origins. Mr. Karzai called upon international community to conduct a critical review of the counter terrorism strategy . The President said Afghan villages are not the birth or the breeding ground for terrorism and the innocent people must therefore not fall victims to the fight against terrorism. Mr. Karzai said the best remembrance and tribute to the victims of terrorism is the elimination of its institutional setup in the world. Afghan government has been insisting since long to root out terrorist sanctuaries across the border in Pakistan.
