Sports Minister Vijay Goel today said terrorism and sports can not go hand in hand. Talking to media on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi, Mr. Goel said, there cannot be any bilateral sporting ties, until and unless Pakistan stops supporting cross border terrorism. <br/><br/>His statement came in the backdrop of India denying visas to Pakistani squash and wrestling teams, which were scheduled to participate in Asian Championships in New Delhi. <br/><br/>He said India is not at loss and its decision to stop bilateral sporting ties with Pakistan will force Pakistani people to put pressure on their government to act against terrorism. Mr. Goel said, the entire world knows Pakistan is sponsoring terrorism.
