Union Home minister Rajnath Singh has said that territorial integrity of Assam would not be compromised due to the peace treaty with NSCN-IM. <br/><br/>Mr. Singh assured this to Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal during a meeting in New Delhi. He said that the Centre is committed to maintaining peace and harmony in North East. <br/><br/>It was also decided that the international Indo-Bangladesh border at Karimganj-Cachar and Mankachar – South Salmara sectors in Assam would be sealed as soon as possible.
