RK Pachauri, accused of sexual harassment has been sent on an indefinite leave by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI). In a related development, former Competition Commission Chief Ashok Chawla was appointed new Chairman of the organisation. Mr. Chawla replaces an old colleague of Pachauri, B V Sreekantan, who was serving as the Chairman.<br/><br/>Pachauri, the former TERI Director General continued to face heat with women activists protested outside TERI office, demanding his sacking from the organisation.
