Third seeds Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek began their campaign at the season-ending Tennis World Tour finale with a straight set win over seventh seeds Aisam-ul Qureshi and Jean-Julien Roger, in London. The Indo-Czech pair defeated Pakistan-Dutch combo 6-4 ,7-5 in their opening doubles Group A match. The Indian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Rohan Bopanna had lost their first Group B match to Jonathan Marray and Frederik Nielse. They need to win their next match if they are to stay in semi-final race. They will now face the pair of Sweden's Roberd Lindstand and Romania's Horiya Tekau.
