Tennis: Somdev meets Janowicz;India open Doubles campaign at Australia Open

In Australian Open Tennis, India's Somdev Devvarman will lock horns with Jerzy Janowicz of Poland in the Men's Singles second round today. Somdev had defeated Bjorn Phau of Germany, 6-3, 6-2, 6-3 in the opening round.Serbia's World Number One Novak Djokovic, Spain's David Ferrer, Russian Maria Sharapova and Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland will also play their Singles second round matches today.Meanwhile, India will begin its campaign in the Doubles categories today. In the Men's Doubles opening round, the fifth seeded Indo-Canadian pair of Mahesh Bhupathi and Daniel Nestor will take on the Spanish duo of Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez, while the Indo-American pair of Rohan Bopanna and Rajeev Ram will meet the Aussie team of Thanasi Kokkinakis and Nick Kyrgios.In the Women's Doubles first round, the Indo-American duo of Sania Mirza and Bethanie Mattek-Sands will clash with the Spanish pair of Silvia Soler-Espinosa and Carla Suarez Navarro.
