Indian players advanced in the ATP Nottingham Challenger Tennis event. Somdev Devvarman advanced to the second round of the tournament in the singles category while Divij Sharan and Purav Raja advanced to the doubles quarter finals of the tournament. Somdev, ranked 140, defeated Brydan Klein, 7-6, 6-4 in the opening round of the grass court event. In the doubles event, the fourth seeded Indian pair of Divij and Raja defeated the South African – Canadian pair of Rik De Voest and Adil Shamasdin 6-1, 3-6, 10-7 in the opening round.
