Tennis, cricket stars pledge financial support for victims of bush fires in Australia

Tennis and cricket stars in Australia today pledged financial support for victims of bush fires raging around the country. The blazes have claimed 18 lives and forced mass evacuations, with the country bracing for a weekend heatwave which is expected to fan the deadly infernos. The players will donate cash for every ace in Tennis or six they hit during cricket matches.  <br />'' <br />'' The support group for bush fire victims is spearheaded by Tennis players Nick Kyrgios and Chris Lynn. Kyrgios has pledged 140 US Dollars for each ace he serves across the Australian summer of tennis, starting with the ATP Cup which began today. <br />'' <br />'' The 24-team ATP Cup is being staged in Brisbane, Perth and Sydney with top names, including Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal playing. Another Australian tennis player at the inaugural ATP Cup,  Alex de Minaur pledged 250 US dollars per ace.<br />''<br />''Two of the biggest hitters in the game of cricket, Chris Lynn and Glenn Maxwell, also announced they would donate 250 Dollars for every six they smash during the ongoing Big Bash League Twenty20 tournament.<br />
