Ten people killed and eight others injured in a fire incident in China

In China, ten people have been killed and eight others injured in a fire incident at a hotel in the central Hunan Province. Reports say the fire ripped through a small hotel, in Yuelu District of provincial capital Changsha in the early hours today. Six people were killed on the spot while four others succumbed to their injuries later. Fire brigade officials said most of the victims died of suffocation. Fifty people were evacuated by the fire brigade officials. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
