In Manipur, ten cadres of six different proscribed outfits laid down their arms before Inspector General of Assam Rifles Major General C A Krishnan and state Additional Director General of Police V Zathang at Imphal on Thursday.The ten militants who have surrendered with arms and ammunitions include one each from UNLF, PLA, PREPAK(S), KCP(S), KCP(MTF) and five cadres from UNPC. AIR correspondent reports, four AK-Rifles, one M-16 Rifle, one M-22 Rifle, two 9-mm Pistols with magazines were also handed over by the surrendered militants.
