Ten killed in chartered plane crash in Faridabad

In Haryana, ten persons were killed and two were injured in a small plane crash in Faridabad on Wednesday night. All seven onboard were killed in the incident. Faridabad's SDM Pradeep said three persons on ground were also killed when the P-12 turboprop aircraft belonging to Air Chartered Services India Pvt Limted crashed in Jawaharnagar locality near the IAF station at around 1035 PM .The airplane was ferrying a critically ill patient from Patna to New Delhi for further medical management. Two pilots, two doctors and two medical attendants were accompanying the patient. According to Delhi airport sources, the airplane lost control and nosedived from a height of about 8,000 feet fifteen minutes before landing. There was strong gusty winds due to a duststorm at the time of the crash.
