In Andhra Pradesh, at least ten people died and twelve others severely injured in a road accident near Namavaram in Payakarao Pet Mandal of Visakhapatnam district in the early hours today. The mishap occurred when a mini truck carrying fishermen from Visakhapatnam and heading towards Mandapet in East Godavari district collided with a stationary lorry on the national highway number five. Eight people including the driver died on the spot, while two others succumbed to their injuries in the government hospital in Tuni. The mini truck was carrying 22 people at the time the accident according to the Police. The injured have been admitted in the hospital.
