Several people are still trapped under the debris of the collapsed eleven storey building since yesterday at Chennai. The Superintendent of the National Disaster Response Force , NDRF teams told that it might take two more days to clear the debris and complete the rescue work. Ten persons have been killed and 23 others in the mishap.

The DIG of Police Ramanujam said that four persons are being interrogated to find out the cause of the accident. A control room has been set up for information relating to the accident and the number is 1070.
