A US military base in southern Japan went into a brief lockdown today following reports of gunshots, and was declared all clear. <br/><br/>Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo said in a Facebook post that they received reports of gunshots inside the building. It said, the lock down has been lifted as there is no evidence of shots fired or an active shooter. <br/><br/>Commander Fleet Activities Sasebo is an American naval base for logistics located in Japanese city of Sasebo, some 950 kilometres southwest of Tokyo.
