Maximum temperatures are above normal between 3.1 degree Celsius to 5 degree Celsius at most places over Jharkhand; at many places over Gangetic West Bengal; at a few places over North Odisha and at isolated places over West Assam. The MeT Department has said, the highest maximum temperature of 45 degrees Celsius was recorded at Bankura in Gangetic West Bengal.
