Delhi grew hotter today as the mercury climbed close to 40 degrees Celsius with Weatherman predicting dust storms in the city on Friday. The maximum was recorded at 39.4 degrees Celsius, up from Wednesday's 36.4 degrees, while the minimum was at 24.8 degrees Celsius, up from 23.2 degrees Celsius. The Weatherman has predicted similar weather conditions for Friday with temperature between 24 and 40 degree Celsius.
