Telugu lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry passes away

<span style="color: #222222;">Telugu lyricist Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry passed away yesterday in Secunderabad following lung cancer related complications. He breathed his last in KIMS hospital, Secunderabad. Holding a record of writing lyrics for over 3,000 songs till 2020, Seetharama Sastry is known for his philosophical approach in his songs.<br />''<br />'' Seetharama Sastry penned many songs and some of his popular films such as 'Swarna Kamalam', 'Swathi Kiranam', 'Shruti Layalu', 'Nuvve Kavali', 'Okkadu', 'Varsham', 'Swayam Krushi', 'Pelli Chesi Choodu', 'Gayam' and many more. Born on 25th May 1955 at Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam District, the lyricist received at least 11 State Nandi Awards and Four Film Fare Awards for his contribution to the entertainment world. He was awarded with Padma Shri for his contribution to the field of arts and aesthetics.</span><br />
