The Lok Sabha has been adjourned till 2 P.M. on the Telangana issue. As soon as the House assembled for the day, members from the ruling Congress from the Telangana region rushed to the well shouting slogans for the creation of a seperate Telangana state. Members from the Telangana Rashtriya Samiti, TRS also joined them demanding the introduction of a Telangana Bill for creation of the state in Parliament.
Heeding to the request of the Speaker Mrs. Meira Kumar the TRS members
later returned to their seats. However, members from the ruling Congress remained in the well of the House voicing their protest for delay in piloting a bill. Leader of the Opposition, Sushma Swaraj of the BJP also said that her party is in favour of Telangana cause. Noisy scenes prevailed as shouting by the ruling Congress members from the Telangana region continued and the Speaker adjourned the House for an hour.
When the House reassembled, the scene was no different with members of the Congress from the Telangana region protesting in the well of the House on the suicides for the Telangana cause. Inspite of the repeated requests from the Speaker, the members continued shouting slogans. Amidst the din, the Speaker adjourned the House till 2.00 PM
