The Telecom Service Providers are likely to launch 5-G services during the current financial year, 2022-23, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw informed in the Lok Sabha. In a written reply, the minister said the department of Telecommunications granted permission to Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited for conducting 5G technology trails with Centre for Development of Telematics (C-Dot).&nbsp; The Minister further said the C-Dot has formulated a collaborative research policy and framework to build strong partnership with various stakeholders of indigenous 5G ecosystem with&nbsp; focus on local industry and start ups.
