<span style="color: #222222;">Communications Minister Manoj Sinha has said, telecom infrastructure in the North East would be augmented further. Responding to queries of members in Lok Sabha during Question Hour amidst noisy scenes today, he said the Centre has consulted the states concerned, to take them on board in the process. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said the states have to support BSNL in securing No Objection Certificates for installing communication towers in hilly tracts, without delay. He said projects worth eight thousand five hundred crore rupees for augmenting communication infrastructure in the North East would help significantly improve telecom facilities in areas that remain under-served.</span><br />''  <br />
