Telangana Strike: Talks remain inconclusive between Govt & striking employees

In Andhra Pradesh, the talks held today between State Government and the employees over the ongoing General Strike remained inconclusive.A six-member Group of Ministers headed by Deputy Chief Minister D Rajanarasimha has appealed to the employees to call off their 30-day old General Strike which is underway for the statehood for Telangana to avoid inconvenience to common people.Finance Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy told media later that the leaders of Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee have demanded for revoking ESMA act and withdrawal of all the cases registered against employees during the agitation as pre condition.The minister said the Government would come out after discussing the proposed conditions with the Chief Minister and the Chief Secretary.
