In Andhra Pradesh, the ongoing general strike demanding statehood for Telangana continues to affect normal life. State owned Road Transport Corporation buses mostly remained off the roads in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana as its employees are continuing strike. Transport employees are holding protest rallies across the region on Tuesday.Meanwhile, stray incidents were reported that the government employees attending their duties have been obstructed by agitators at few places of the region.AIR correspondent reports, Senior Congress leaders from Telangana region including some state Ministers have reached Delhi to convey their feelings to the party high command over the ongoing strike. On the other hand, the main opposition party Telugu Desam is holding an extended state level meeting with all its public representatives and district in charges to discuss the present situation in the state.
