Telangana State Finance Minister, T Harish Rao today presented the annual budget proposals for the year 2020-21, with an expenditure of 1 lakh 82 thousand 914.42 crore (1,82,914.42 Crore rupees) in the state Assembly. This includes over 1.38 lakh crore rupees of revenue expenditure and 22,061.18 crore rupees of capital expenditure.<br />'' <br />'' He projected 33,191 crore rupees of fiscal deficit. Terming it as a progressive budget, he said a people-centric approach has been taken while preparing his first budget. He said despite fiscal deficit, the government has given priority for implementation of welfare programmes and speeding up of irrigation projects.<br />'' <br />'' He announced that the Agriculture sector and will continue getting focus and announced loan waiver of crop loans up to 25 thousand rupees in one go during this month. This will benefit 5.83 laksh farmers. He also said, the crop loans of above 25 thousand rupees and below one lakh rupees will be waived on four installments.<br />''
