<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana state reported 253 new Coronavirus Positive cases on a single day. This is the highest number of fresh cases reported on a single day ever since the first COVID case reported in March this year. With this, total reported COVID-19 cases in the state have gone up to 4737. Meanwhile, 74 persons have been discharged from Hospitals after recovery taking the total recoveries in the state to 2352.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand , the state also reported 8 more deaths taking the total deaths due to COVID-19 and other comorbidities to 182.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports that there has been a sharp and consistent rise in number of COVID -19 cases and the number of deaths in Telangana state for the past few days. Despite strict containment measures in Hyderabad where there is high prevalence of the positive cases, the virus spread is continuing to be rampant since middle of the last month following relaxations in lockdown.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The number of positive cases went alarmingly up by over 2,800 from nearly 1700 to the current 4737.  The number of deaths too, have gone up from 34 to 182 from then. While Hyderabad contributing over two thirds of the total cases in the state, the neighbouring Ranaga reddy, Medchal Malkajgiri and Sangareddy districts are also witnessing considerable number of positive cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, over 70 doctors who were in the forefront in the fight against COVID-19 have become positive and over 100 police personnel who are on duty have also become positive during the same time.</span><br />
