In Telangana, the number of COVID-19 cases reported daily continue to surge, while the state reported Two thousand 251 (Rt 2,251) fresh cases on a single day. With this, the number of COVID cases reported so far has gone up to 3 lakh 29 thousand 529 (Repeat 3,29, 529). With 565 more people recovering, the total recoveries in the state has gone up to three lakh five thousand Nine hundred (Repeat 3,05,900) with 92.82 per cent recovery rate. Six more persons succumbed to COVID-19 and other comorbidities taking the total deaths in the state to 1765 (Repeat 1765). The state has currently over 21 thousand eight hundred active cases and over 14 thousand are in home isolation. Meanwhile, the state has requested the Centre to send more COVID vaccines as the reserves are getting depleted.<br />
