<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana reported for the first time in the recent past, over thousand COVID-19 cases on a single day. The state reported 1078 cases during the past 24 hours taking the total number of COVID cases that the state reported so far to 3 lakh 10 thousand 819 (Repeat 3,10,819). With 331 more recovering from COVID, the total recoveries in the state has gone up to 3 lakh two thousand 207 (Repeat 3,02,207) with 97.22 per cent recovery rate.<br />'' <br />'' According to the State Covid Bulletin, six more persons succumbed to COVID-19 and other comorbidities taking the total deaths in the state to 1712 (Repeat 1712). The state has currently 6 thousand 9 hundred active cases, while over three thousands of them are in home isolation.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, the GHMC area reported 283 fresh COVID-19 cases during the past 24 hours while Medchal Malkajgiri and Rangareddy districts reported over 100 cases each. Jagityal, Nirmal, Nizamabad,  Sangareddy, and Karimnagar are among the districts which reported high number of fresh COVID cases during the same period.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, COVID Vaccination programme is underway in Telangana and the state-administered vaccines to over 13 lakh 84 thousand people including over 8 lakh 2 thousand those who are above 45 years of age.</span><br />''
