<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has said the state may come out of the COVID-19 pandemic by the end of the first week of April. He said, 11 Coronavirus positive patients have tested negative after treatment at designated hospitals.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The state reported total 70 positive cases for Coronavirus. One person has been discharged after recovery, while the remaining are recovering except one whose condition is critical. It may be recalled that a 74- year old person tested positive only after death. The Chief Minister further said over 25 thousand 900 people have been quarantined and kept under surveillance by the state medical and health authorities. He said they all will be completing their 14-day quarantine period by April 7.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said they will be declared safe in a phased manner and all of them will be cleared of COVID-19. They include foreign returnees, their relatives and close contacts who had been identified and kept in isolation. The Chief Minister expressed hope that the state will be Corona-free if there are no fresh cases following closure of the state for international passengers and from other states.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister further announced that the government will procure the entire yield from farmers at minimum support prices announced by the Centre during next 45 days. Assuring farmers not to worry about closure of markets during the lockdown, he said the paddy, maize and other crops will be procured directly from the farmers. Government will spend about 30 thousand crore rupees to procure over one crore tonnes of paddy and 14.5 lakh tonnes of maize. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asked farmers not to worry and maintain restraint and maintain self-discipline at the local paddy procurement centres. They will be given tokens to avoid crowd at the procurement centres. He further said the amount will be deposited in the farmers' bank passbooks. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He urged migrant workers to remain stay where they are and assured that the government will extend all necessary help required to them during the lockdown period. Over 3 lakh workers who migrated from various parts of the country are in Telangana.</span><br />
