<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana has reported 4 thousand 559 Covid-19 new infections during the past 24 hours. Of them, 1450 positive cases have been reported from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation area. The health authorities have also reported two deaths due to Covid-19 and other comorbidities, taking the overall number of deaths in the state to 4077. Currently, the state has over 36 thousand active Covid-19. The Omicron-driven Covid infections are also registering a significant increase in other urban centers with authorities reporting 432 cases from Medchal-Malkajgiri district, 322 cases in Rangareddy district, 201 from Hanumakonda, 145 from Khammam, 112 from Karimnagar, 138 from Nalgonda district.</span>
