In Andhra Pradesh, amidst tight security arrangements the Rail Roko agitation called by Telangana Joint Action Committee has begun this morning. Pressing their demand for introduction of bill in Parliament over statehood for Telangana, the Telangana JAC has given a Rail Roko call through out the region. The South Central railway has either cancelled or rescheduled over 60 trains as a precautionary measure and appealed to commuters to postpone their journey today unless it was an emergency.
