The Telangana issue rocked the Lok Sabha today with the members of the TRS trooping into the well of the House after every adjournment pledging their support for a separate state of Telangana . As the House met at 2.00, the TRS members who were joined by some Congress members from Telangana region were supported by the leader of the Opposition in the house Mrs. Sushma Swaraj. She urged the government to bring a legislation in the current session of Parliament for carving out a separate state of Telangana. The pleas by the Presiding officer to restore order in the house were not heeded by the agitated members, it was adjourned till 3 P.M. The issue also figured in the Rajya Sabha also forcing the adjournment of the House till noon.Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha has begun discussion on the Railway Budget. Initiating the discussion, senior BJP leader Mr.Venkaiya Naidu alleged that the budget is not focussed. He said that nothing has been done to take care of the financial health of the public sector unit. He further alleged that no safety fund has been created. The discussion is continuing.
