The proceedings of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly have been stalled today by the members of both Ruling and opposition parties from Telangana region. The house has been repeatedly adjourned without transacting any business. The Congress members from Telanagna region also joined the TDP members from the region and the CPI members in stalling the proceedings demanding the Government to pass a resolution seeking introduction of Bill in Parliament over statehood for Telangana. The Assembly could not transact any business except presenting Annual Budget and Passing motion of Thanks for the Governor’s address ever since the Budget session began on 17th of this month.
