In Telangana, incessant rains continue to batter especially northern districts of the state. Hundreds of villages have been inundated due to swollen rivers and streams. The local authorities have imposed 144 sections asking people not to venture out as the river is in fury and many low-lying areas have been inundated. Rivers and several streams are on spate posing threat to normal life. Dozens of villages have been cut off from the rest of the places following road connectivity got washed away.
