Telangana Health Profile project launched in Mulugu district

<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana Health Profile project has been launched in Mulugu district of Telangana state today. State Health Minister Harish Rao has launched the pilot project formally this morning. <br />''<br />''Health profile of every citizen above 18 years will be collected and recorded under the project. </span><br />''<br />''AIR correspondent reports, following Kanti Velugu- means Eye Light, the Telangana State government has taken up another ambitious health project, called Telangana Health Profile. As part of it, the Government has taken up Mulugu and Rajannna Sircilla districts as pilot to form health profiles of all citizens who are above 18 years. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">For this, the health authorities will collect data for complete health profile of every individual and keep it under data bank. A door-to-door survey will be held to inquire about every person in each household and a unique identification number will be given. Samples will be collected and 30 kinds of diagnostic tests will be conducted covering all major health parameters for any future reference. All the reports will be updated online. Treatment will also be started immediately if there are any health issues.</span>
