Telangana Health Minister urges Centre to reconsider rates of COVID vaccines

<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana Medical and Health Minister E. Rajender today urged the Centre to reconsider the rates of COVID vaccines.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said the vaccine companies should not be allowed to fix different rates for states and centre.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing a media conference this evening, the Minister said there is no dearth for Medical Oxygen for COVID patients in the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said currently 270 tonnes of Oxygen required for COVID patients and the reserves in the state are comfortable after the Centre allocated oxygen supplies recently.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also announced that 10 thousand beds in the state will be converted into oxygen-beds by providing necessary arrangements in a week time on war-footing. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He exuded hope that the surge in the number of COVID cases being reported daily, will come down soon.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He asked private hospitals to follow the government fixed rates for COVID treatment and warned stringent action against violators.</span><br />''  <br />
