Telangana HC directs state govt to take final call on swift decisions to contain spread of COVID-19

<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana High Court today directed the state Government to take a final call on swift decisions to contain spread of COVID-19 in 48 hours. Over a petition relating to prevention of spread of COVID, the bench headed by Chief Justice, Justice Hima Kohli ordered the state Government to take final decision on imposing night curfew or weekend lockdown or any other strcit measure. The High Court further said it will pass orders, if the government does not act on this.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The court also said, the Government was not taking any action, except conducting review meetings on spread of COVID. The court further pointed out that the affidavit lacks details like measures to check footfall in cinema halls and other public places. The bench directed the government to submit a fresh report and asked to register COVID patients' details on the website. The bench adjourned further hearing till 23rd of this month.</span><br />''  <br />
