Telangana govt extends holidays for educational institutions till 30th January

The Telangana government has extended the holidays for educational institutions till 30th this month. An order has been issued by chief secretary of the state, Somesh Kumar after receiving the directions from chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao. AIR correspondent reports tha tin the wake of surge in COVID-19 cases especially the fast spreading Omicron virus variant cases, the Telangana state government has earlier declared holidays to educational institutions on 8th of this month much ahead of Sankranti Festival.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">A day before the schools and colleges are to be reopened, the State government has now declared that holidays are extended till 30th of this month as the surge in covid cases continued. Meanwhile, the state Cabinet will be meeting tomorrow at 2 PM in Hyderabad under the chairmanship of the Chief Minister to discuss the latest Covid situation in the state and the country among others. </span><br />
