<span style="color: #222222;">In Telangana, on the second day of Independent India Diamond Jubilee celebrations, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporations – GHMC has designated 75 parks as 'Freedom Parks'. State Minister T. Srinivas Yadav, Member of Parliament K Keshav Rao, Mayor G. Vijayalakshmi and legislators opened a freedom park in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. A total of 75 Freedom Parks have been designated. The GHMC informed that these parks have been planted with 75 plants each. Patriotic songs will be played in 10 select parks of the city, twice a day, during morning and evening hours.
