Telangana: Election campaigning in full swing for upcoming assembly elections

In Telangana, election campaigning is in full swing for the upcoming assembly elections, to be held on 30th of this month. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, BRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and his party working president K Tarakarama Rao are among the top leaders who held electioneering in various constituencies in the State.<br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent said that Maharashtra Dy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken part in a road show along with Rajya Sabha Member Dr K Lakshman and BJP state President G Kishan Reddy for BJP candidate Poosa Raju at Musheerabad constituency. During the campaign, the trio alleged the BRS of imposing family rule in the state. <br />''<br />''Mr Fadnavis advised the BRS to change the party name as FRS-Family Rule Party. BRS president Chandrasekhar Rao has said his party will come to power in the state with a better majority than in the past. He addressed rallies at Madhira, Wyra, Dornakal and Suryapet. He explained people how the BRS is better option than Congress in his campaigning. He alleged that Congress could not ensure adequate supply of drinking and irrigation water during its rule in undivided Andhra Pradesh. Pradesh Congress president Revanth Reddy said BRS was given a chance twice but it did not do anything for the people.
