In Telangana, the toll has risen to four due to building collapse at Nanakramguda in Hyderabad while rescue operation is still underway to find others. <br/><br/>A total 13 persons are reportedly trapped under the debris when the seven storied building caved-in last night. Over hundred personnel from the National Disaster Response Force, local Police, Fire Services and local administration are making all out efforts to rescue the trapped persons.<br/><br/> A woman from Chattisgarh and her 6 year old son have been taken out alive and they have been provided necessary medical care at a nearby private hospital. The rest of the trapped persons migrated to Hyderabad in search of work from Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the state Government has announced 2 lakh rupees of exgratia and other financial assistance to a tune of 8 lakh rupees to the kin of each deceased. The state government has made it clear that stringent action will be taken against those who are involved in building violations. Meanwhile, several state ministers and leaders of various political parties visited the site and conveyed their sympathies to the relatives of the deceased. <br/><br/>Stating that the state Government failed in preventing building irregularities and deaths of innocent people, Pradesh Congress President Uttamkumar Reddy demanded state Urban Development minister, Tarakarama Rao should resign.
