Telangana: COVID-19 cases reach over 1.30 lakh, recovery rate 74.5%

In Telangana, surge in the number of COVID-19 cases being recorded every day continued with reporting 2,892 new cases yesterday. As per the daily bulletin issued by the State Medical and Health Department, 2,892 persons tested positive for Corona virus after around 60 thousand tests conducted during the past 24 hours. The number of total COVID-19 cases reported so far in the state increased to one lakh 30 thousand 589. <br />''<br />''During the same period, 2,240 more COVID-19 patients recovered and discharged from various Hospitals in the state. With this, the recovery rate in the state improved a bit to 74.5 per cent and total 97 thousand 402 people recovered from COVID so far. Ten patients died yesterday due to COVID and other comorbidities taking the total COVID-19 toll to 846. <br />''<br />''The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, where COVID-19 prevalence was more, reported 477 fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours while Rangareddy district reported 234 fresh COVID cases. Medchal Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nizamabad, Warangal Urban, siddipet, Suryapet, Jagityal districts also reported over hundred new COVID cases during the past 24 hours.<br />
