Telangana: COVID-19 cases reach 3.12 lakh, Recovery rate 96.91 percent

<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana reported 1321 fresh COVID-19 cases taking the total number of cases reported so far in the state to 3 lakh 12 thousand 140 (3,12,140). The State COVID bulletin revealed that 293 more persons recovered from COVID during the same period with 96.91 percent recoveries. With this, the state has currently about 8 thousand active COVID cases, out of which over 3 thousand 8 hundred are in home isolation.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, five more persons succumbed to COVID-19 and other comorbidities in the state taking the toll to 1717. Over 54 thousand people were vaccinated yesterday. With this, over 14 lakh 38 thousand people have been vaccinated so far in the state. This includes 8 lakh 53 thousand people who are above 45 years of age.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Telangana State government has asked the health officials to be prepared to tackle the situation in the wake of rising COVID cases. The officials have been directed to re-open Quarantine Centres, Isolation wards and exclusive COVID treatment wards and hospitals across the state on the lines of the measures taken last year when the pandemic broke out. </span><br />''  <br />
