Telangana continued to witness a spike in COVID-19 cases with 1,892 fresh Coronavirus Positive cases being reported during the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of COVID cases being reported on a single day so far. With this, the number of Coronavirus cases in the state has gone up to twenty thousand four hundred and sixty-two.<br />'' <br />'' Out of the 1892, the highest 1658 cases were reported from the Hyderabad municipality area while Rangareddy district accounted for 56 followed by Medchal Malkajgiri district with 44 and Warangal Rural district with 41 fresh cases. Over 15 other districts reported cases in single digit each.<br />'' <br />'' Meanwhile, eight people lost their lives due to COVID-19 yesterday, taking the death toll in the state to 283. On the other hand, the state has surpassed the one lakh mark in Coronavirus testing with the total COVID-19 tests reached 1 lakh 4 thousand 118 till now. Recovery of coronavirus affected individuals is also on rise with 1126 patients being discharged yesterday. With this, the total number of people cured so far has surpassed the 10 thousand mark standing at 10,195. Presently, 9 thousand 984 people are under treatment at various hospitals in the state.  <br />
