<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has announced 30 per cent fitment for State government Employees and Teachers under Pay Revision and increased the retirement age to 61 years from 58. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Chief Minister has made a statement in this regard in the Legislative Assembly a short while ago.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">   </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Announcing a slew of measures following recommendations by the 11th Pay Revision Commission, he said the PRC has been delayed due to the COVID pandemic. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further said the decision to hike salaries is applicable for contract employees, KGBV employees, Home guards and others in the state. He also announced 180 days paid maternity leave for women employees of KGBVs. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He further announced a decrease in the upper age limit from 75 year to 7 to get a 15 per cent additional pension.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In addition, he said the promotion process will be completed soon and notify recruitment for the vacancies. He said the promotion process of the government employees has been completed 85 per cent till now.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Our correspondent says, these decisions will benefit over 9.17  lakh employees and those who are working with the state government. </span>
